Anyway...He was $580. He's an Australian Shepherd, he has all his shots, he's 9 weeks old, and he's really healthy.
Problems?
There are a few things we need to work on. Such as potty training, not jumping on the other dogs, not chewing up my shoes, not eating cat poo, not eating the other dogs' food, not biting, not attacking the cats, learning to sit and stay, learning to stay asleep at night, not eating Jocelyn's homework, and learning that there are certain areas that he shouldn't potty at.
The good news is: he knows his name and he (sometimes) comes when you call him.
We have quite a ways to go.

Well he is very cute! It sounds like you have alot'o pet'os so you might already know these tips I am about'o post'o.
ReplyDeleteWhen you give him his first bath, or any bath for that matter, don't give your other Dogs baths with him, and if you do give him a bath with the other dogs, give him his bath first. If you let him watch you give your other dogs baths and they don't like baths, he will learn baths are bad and will act a million times worse than your older dogs.
Seeing as how you got a Herding Dog its going to be real hard too try and train him not too herd you or your other pets around. You could try and take a Pop can fill it with rocks and shake it around whenever he does something bad, he will learn that whenever he does something you don't like that a scary rattling noise will come out of nowhere.
As for the Cat pooo, you should scoop it up ever hour so that he doesn't get into it...
