Do you remember when you were young and you spent all your time out in the sun exploring nature, making up games, playing in the dirt, and swimming in creeks? If you've never done any of those things, I'm terribly sorry. You missed out.
When I was young I did all of those things and I did them practically everyday. Rain or shine. I was a weird kid though...I played with bugs. I had fun, and that's what childhood is mostly about. That and learning what is bad and why you shouldn't do anything bad(or else).
I would say that I had an acceptional childhood. I even used to read outside under a tree.
Now a kid's childhood consists of mostly television and junk food(at least that's what's advertised). They don't have to make up games or use they're imagination anymore, because it's already done for them. I mean, I played video games as a child, but I loved playing outside. Maybe I'm wrong about kids these days, and I hope I am. Kids may love playing outside more than I think they do, they might never change. I hope I'm right.
By the way, I'm sorry for the delayed post, a lot has been happening with my computer and I might need to get a new one(fingers crossed)! Also, if you like my blog, you might like my best friend's blog. His punctuation and grammar aren't the best(don't tell him I told you that), but he's funny and has many strange adventures with many characters. Be sure to read his mysterious tales from the beginning.

Be sure to tell me what you think and I'll bug him to write more stories.
Jacinda your not weird, never think of your self like that you might not realize this but you hurt your self when you think that way mental.
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY COOL! The reason you might not feel like you fit in is because you might not be in the right clix, have you ever thought about going to Dragoncon, Unicon, Comiccon, Gamecon? There are lost of people like us there, I wont lie some of those people can be very strange but where will you not find strange people...?
I have to disagree with you on your comment that video games takes away peoples imagination, or prevents them from using it... I think it helps people fine tune there imagination, but I do think people should go outside more often.
